H2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Innovative training networks (MSCA ITN) stimulate scientific excellence and innovation. The MSCA ITN brings together and networks universities, research institutes and other sectors from around the world to train researchers at PhD level.
The invitation is open to everyone – academic institutions, companies, NGO sector, hospitals, museums, etc. who can participate both as partners and as project coordinators. This is one of the most attractive H2020 calls because it offers the possibility of training and employment of new researchers, organization and participation in conferences and workshops, procurement of materials, procurement of small equipment for research purposes, etc.
The maximum duration of the ITN project is four years. The deadline for submitting the application is January 14, 2020.

What is funded:
All areas of research can be financed – from molecular biology to urban development. Proposals should: reflect existing or planned research collaborations between partners; engage researchers through personalized research projects; explain how the recruitment of researchers, who must come from another country, will be open and transparent.

What the H2020 grant covers:
a) recruitment and training of each researcher for up to three years. The researcher is engaged on the basis of an employment contract and benefits from a monthly subsistence allowance, social security, plus mobility and family allowance.
b) research costs including the organization of joint activities and conferences.
c) management and indirect costs.
EUTA organizes a 2-day training to help you prepare for the open ITN call and increase your chances of getting funding. On the first day, we do a detailed analysis of the call and the application form, and on the second day, we provide practical help and consultation in writing your project proposals.
