The Widening participation and strengthening the European Research Area program is intended for research institutions from countries that achieve weaker results in research and innovation, so organizations from Serbia and the region do not have to compete with institutions from the most developed countries in order to get financial resources from the Horizon Europe program.

Within this program, the EU has also created a Twinning call aimed at strengthening the research, administrative and managerial capacities of research institutions through cooperation with at least 2 leading research institutions from Europe.

Currently, a Twinning call has been announced, the application deadline of which is April 9, 2026.

Therefore, EUTA organizes a training that will help you prepare for the mentioned competition and increase your chances of getting funding. On the first day of the training, we will do a detailed analysis of the call and the application form and provide clear instructions on how to fill out each section of the form. On the second day of the training, participants will receive instructions on how to prepare a project budget using the Lump Sum methodology, and we will organize presentations of Twinning projects that received funding in previous years.

This training is part of the services that EUTA provides to researchers in the process of preparing and writing Twinning projects, and they are based on previous experience during which EUTA team members helped more than 10 Twinning projects from Serbia get funding.

Trainers:

EUTA trainers have many years of experience in preparation, writing, coordination and successful implementation of Twinning, ERA Chairs, MSCA and other types of H2020 and Horizon Europe projects.
